remove.bg (after Dec 2026)
Standalone site shut down; the remover lives inside Canva Pro — subscription-only billing, credits tied to the cycle, licensing via Canva.
NewRemoveBG
Live at newremovebg.com — free preview without signup, one-off packs from $7.99, transparent PNG, credits that never expire.
Per image, packs work out to $0.04–0.08 — the biggest pack undercuts remove.bg's subscription rate by ~80%.
Switchingfrom Canva?
Pro-only there
Canva gates background removal behind its Pro plan — the free tier won't do it.
Per-image here
A recurring subscription for a few images a month is the wrong shape — pay only when you download.
Licensing clarity
Cut-outs you make here are yours to use, including commercially, without attribution.
